Checking On Case Status

Well there is no way to check on a IV case. IV case mean your case now either your loacal embassy or some where immigratoin office. So if your case is in embassy you may just call them and can ask them about your case. Mostly they say your case are pending due to name check something like that. But you must ask them time by time. If your husebend name are a common name then it may be take a few months. there are many people who are waiting their interview call for several years but they are stuck on name check list.

WE HAVE ALREADY HAD THE INTERVIEW AND THEY HAVE TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT HE QUALIFIED FOR IMMIGRANT VISA AND WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES--THERE ARE NO MORE INTERVIEWS TO GO TO--JUST GET CLEARED FROM THE NAME CHECK AND BE CALLED TO PICK UP PASSPORT AND VISA--EMBASSY HAS THE PASSPORT. OUR CASE IS DONE EXCEPT THE NAME THING, I HAVE CALLED THE EMBASSY AND THEY SAY STILL PROCESSING AND AS SOON AS HIS NAME IS CLEARED WE WOULD GET THE PASSPORT WITH VISA. WE HAVE ALREADY ALSO BEEN CLEARED WITH DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY. JUST HOPING NAME CHECK WILL DONE SOON AS I AM IN PAKISTAN AND WANT TO GO HOME...THANKS
