I had sent my parents extn via certified mail, and it reached Nebraska INS on nov 12th. I read in earlier posts and also heard from friends that the check that we send alongwith the application gets cashed immediately.
I did check with my bank even today, but the check has not yet cleared. Is this something to be concerned about. I had sent $195 as fee for both my father and mother.
Also how long does it take for me to get the receipt from INS. Please do let me know.
