Check encashed

My lawyer sent EAD, Advance Parole extension papers for me and my wife to BCIS Nebraska on 5-13-03. This morning I was surprised to see that the check was encashed by BCIS. I am impressed the way they get the check encashed and I hope they should have the same pace in approving the petitions

If 5/13 is receipt data at NSC or it was sent on 5/13?.

I learn from some one, that, you can get the LIN number from the check image, which you can see at your Bank's website, is this true?.

I have applied AP for my daughter on 5/12, received at INS on 5/15. So far (5/20) check is not with drawn.

5-13 is the date when it was sent from our place and I guess they would have received it on 5-15-03.

Yes its true that you can see the LIN no on the back of your check through your bank's web site. I just did it. If you have problem in reading the nos you can request your bank to fax you the cleared check or tell you the LIN nos.

Yes, I got all my LIN numbers from the back of the the checks. I checked it online too..
