Hello,

IIO: Hello
Me : Good Afternoon and thanks for taking my call. I have few questions that need to be answered.

II0: Alright...

Me : How much time do you think is going to take for INS to come with rules and regulations for the new law, regarding changing jobs after 180 days.
IIO: I don\'t know. They are working on it and I don\'t have a definite answer.

Me : Given the state of enconomy, what is the process involved for changing jobs assuming that the applicant gets laid off whose appication is still AOS?
IIO: You can change jobs assuming you have an EAD. Remember you"ll have to provide letter from your employer from the company that actually sponsored for your green card when you go for an Interview. During the interview it is upto the immigration officer\'s discretion whether to approve your petition for GC or not.

Me : Thank You and that\'s all.

In anycase I have couple of questions for you guys...

1) What\'s the probability of getting RFE?
2) What\'s the probability of getting the GC without going through the inteview process ?

Thanks for your input.

No Title

The chances for getting RFE for you is 100% now.

Why would you ask an IIO these kinds of question about changing jobs when we already know they are just like dummy terminals.
That IIO must have put some notes in your file about you asking about changing the jobs. The Real reviewer will make sure now that you still work for the same company and issue an RFE or the worst transfer the case to your local INS (i hope NOT).

I hope NO ONE get RFE and local transfer because it just increase the time of our sufferings. But i also wish people should start thinking twice before they ask any question to IIO whether its worth it or may be haunt them back.

I hope you Sir/Madam that your case get approved tommorow so atleast there will be one less sufferer.
