Stayed at the Holiday Inn last night across from INS.
I walked over to INS at 6am. Only 3 people ahead of me. My family joined me at 7.
7:30 - let us in -checked our bags and asked us why we were there. Asked us if we had pictures,passport and approval notice. Gave us numbers
7:35-7:45 called to window, fingerprinted right index finger twice and sigend underneath. Same for whole family. Took the passports, I-94, EAD, pictures and approval. Told us we would be called by name and that they had to do a final security clearance.
8:50 Called to window, given passports with temporary stamp and told to expect green card in mail in 6-8 months.
No questions or other documents.....very friendly.
It seems Wednesday is quiet. There was about 50 people in line by the time we went in. People we still getting numbers when we left. Security guard said Monday and Friday are the bad days.
