Charged with misdemeanor A, after applying for citizenship

Hello,
Long story short, I was the one who called the police for my spouse’s misbehavior but when they came, I downplayed. My husband on the other hand, cried wolf and I got arrested and charged with family violence Misdemeanor class A. The next day my husband bailed me out. This happened after we had already filed for citizenship. My husband is remorseful and wants to get the charges dropped but that might be more difficult since the state might still decide to prosecute. Our lawyer is positive that we will at least get a dismissal.

My question is how is this going to impact my citizenship interview, since the case is still pending and the first court hearing is after the citizenship interview. Is there anything that I can do to favor my unfortunate situation right now? In TX, the pre trial diversion program is in DA's office and not in front of judge.. will this option help my case at all? My husband will walk out with a citizenship, whereas I am the one getting stuck here, so I cannot even express how depressing and unjust this whole situation is to me right now.

Please help :(
Thanks.
