Changing work location after I-485 pending

Hello all,

I am on a TN visa in the USA working in Seattle. When my PERM (tied to seattle) and my I-140 is approved, 1.) can I move to a different state (like NYC) before I file my I-485? Will doing so restart the entire process?

2.) Lets say I applied for my I-485 from Seattle. Can I change state to NYC while my status is pending?

Please help.
 
Your I-140 is approved for work location as mentioned in I-140, as long as that position remains available you can file I-485. So after filing I-485 and after it remains pending for 180 days based on AC 21 you can move to different employer if you choose to.

If you are with same employer who filed I-140 petition & move to different work location after filing I-485, AC 21 route is not required.
