changing the interview location delay my case?????????????++

do any body know if it is avilable to change the interview location as my case number is 2007AFoooo82xx and i think it may be from 22nd of december to 8 of january ( according to my calculations) and in that date i cant leave my work in canada to go to egypt for my interview ,
also if i can change the location of the interview is that will be in the same date of my regular interview or ther will be any delay
please i need your opinion and experince as some one told me to change my location as soon as posible befor sending my file from kcc to the USA in Egypt

Only KCC can reply to your question. As I understand: After you indicate (= select) your US Embassy in 1st Package, KCC contacts your chosen Embassy as to whether they can interview your case (decided based on your present or past residency in that area) and if so, to furnish them the interview date & time in a particular month. Then only KCC can mention that date in your 2nd package. KCC must transfer your file (hard copy) to the interviewing Embassy as well. I mean there must be some two-way communications between KCC and interviewing US Embassy before the interview is finalised. Therefore, time can be an important factor, if at all KCC can allow such change. Best thing is to contact KCC.
