I have received FP notices from my company today but there is one problem.

I used to work in Kansas until 2 months ago and now i am working in Indianapolis. The FP Center BCIS gave me is in Kansas.

Is there a way i can get finger printed in Indianapolis instead of going to Kansas.

Please help me folks.

Thanks:confused:

Yes that is possible. Don't wait for the FP date, you can go to your nearest USCIS location and get your FP done.

Thanks dynobuoy,

Should i call and make an appointment or i can just walk in with all the relevant documents. Another question i had is do i need to have the driving license of the state where i get finger printed. Please let me know.

I will suggest to go directly and requst them to have your fringerprint. Bring passport , that should be enough.

Just Walk in

Required Documents
[1] FP Notice (Make a copy for your reference, they usually don't return the original FP notice.)
[2] Copies of 485
[3] Photo ID (Take both Passport and Driver Licence. If no driver licence take any form of ID like Insurance card, Employee ID etc)

Thank you all,

I went to the BCIS Indianapolis office with my FP Notice and got Finger Printed with out a problem. They just asked for an ID and i showed them my driving license.

Wish you all the best...

Give a 2nd thought...If you are going to try for early FP with Alexandria,VA ASC.Per experience, they do not allow early FP.Normally no reasons accepted.
GoodLuck..!!

FP appointment missed

Hey guys, what happens if you missed your appointment? Can you still just walk over to the nearest USCIS office and get finger printed?

I am afraid not. But some officials do let you get the FP done. Try your luck. Also try calling NSC and check to see if you could get another FP date.

Rigas,

On my FP Notice it is written that i should get finger printed before 05/25/04 or else the USCIS would consider my application abandoned.

My scheduled date for finger printing was 03/04/04.

I think even if i missed my date on the 03/04/04 i still have a chance to get FP before 05/25/04.

Well i may be wrong here..
