I got my GC a year ago through Consular Processing (EB2 category) in Mumbai. I am a physician and my GC was sponsored by my employer on east coast- another physician. Now I am being offered another job as a physician on the west coast with much better salary and benefits. I understand that I can change my job now after 1 year of GC, but I have 2 questions-
1. Can I change states and go to the West Coast?
2. My Labor certificate(July 2000) mentions my job duties as- work as a physician in federally health professional shortage areas. I will be working as a physician with the same duties as mentioned in my Labor, but the place I am offered this job is in a metro area, which is not a health professional shortage area. Can I now work anywhere I want after 1 year of GC?
