Changing spouses!!

My friend has a typical case, he got married 2 years ago. He filed his 485 recently. His marriage is breaking up and his wife has EAD. She has also found another guy here who has already filed his 485 and they are planning to get married sometime after she divorces her current husband. All desis.
Now can her new husband add her name to his 485 processing? How will this whole thing work? Anybody has any inputs...please help. Anybody with experience???

You got your answer long back. You just want to have stupid immature fun on this message board. People here are trying to get things straight.
I for one am not angry at the girl. Why is it that the Indian society finds it funny and outrageous if a woman finds someone else? If a guy did that its okay but when a woman does it, it becomes an outrage. I commend the girl for doing what she did. Instead of keeping her feelings to herself and cheating all three, she had the guts to admit it despite the status of her immigration. At least she is honest. I know many Indian guy who have affairs. Worse than that they have paid for "services". But the woman is supposed to be silent? I am a guy but I am not a MCP!

Maybe your friend is a moron. Maybe he didnt love her enuf. We dont know what she went through.

Dont try to mock and make fun of someone else\'s situation. I feel sorry for the guy. I pity the girl for she is going to be treated like an outcast. I hope she is doing the right thing.

They probably wont be divorced before their approval. She has nothing to worry about. There is a "Battered spouse " law that applies to immigrants. But in this case it probably wont apply to the girl.

I hope everything works out for her and that your friend can be mature enuf to understand and accept the situation

I think this is not a subject for this site, but you are blowing Hot and Cold over this! So like a typical desi ou have assumed that the female person is the aggrived party and male person is the cause of the problem. Do you know the people whom this "sunnyCool" is talking about? So chill out man, and SunnyCool, if your question is based on an existing problem, then you are in the wrong place.

Rather than passing judgements over what I say and trying to assume the right to decide who belongs here and who doesnt, try to read the thread again. This idiot had already asked the question long time ago and got good answers. He also seemed to have enjoyed all the supposedly "light hearted" but completely idiotic remarks. Which is why he is doing it again. Apparently most find this situation funny and I guess as spicy gossip.

Mr.Yaga, dont try to pull the "typical desi" on me. I dont have anything against you. So stop judging me. And keep your wise @$$ remarks to yourself.

The moderator probably deleted all the responses to it, so sunnycool could have some genuine replies.
