I filed a NIW I-140 online last week and explicitly checked the box for self-petitioning. However, I got the receipt notice today showing my employer as the petitioner. Does anyone know how to correct this? I called the customer service center and they said I'd have to file a new petition, pay the fee again and request the first one to be denied. Can you believe this? Does anyone have a clue about what to be done? I appreciate your reply.
