anybody has experience with name change in california.?
they used to do at the time of citizenship but not anymore.
is this recomended to change before applying citizenship?

You sure they dont change during citizenship? They are still doing it last time I checked.

just last month a friend of mine had interview in san franscisco and officer told him you got get court permission which will delay your oath another three months.that's latest.
