Changing Lawyer

I gave all the ads and needed docs to my lawyer around first week of August 2005 to file my LC thro PERM. He hasnt filed my PERM yet. Its been 2 months already.
Is this the way it usually works or he is just delaying?
Can I change my lawyer after LC? is that possible?

Has your employer finished all the paperwork needed? When did you start the perm process? If all ads, job order and paperwork has been done and lawyer has still not filled, then you better question him... Is he your lawyer or company lawyer?? Just remember Job order and ads are only valid for 6 mths...

Ask him why there is a delay?? payment??

Anyway, there is no such thing as you have to stick with the same lawyer.. it's your choice.. If you are not happy, just change him.. guess, it will cost you though.. You may not get a refund from your lawyer if you have paid the whole fees... Look at your contract.. Some lawyers are very detailed & they tell you upfront what they refund for discontinued services... and there are the other types...

Paid first installment of fee for LC.
The lawyer is not company lawyer.
Is it possible whether i can change the lawyer after LC approved?

Check with lawyer.. doesn't look like his delay got anything to do with paperwork.. Maybe he is waiting for 2nd installment??

Like I said before you can change lawyer any time.
