I have a question for all the gurus here. I applied for my I-140 and I-1485 while
being a research scientist at company A (EB2-NIW. ND 9/27/05. No news regarding
both petitions so far). Now I am thinking of taking up a research position at
company B. In my NIW petition, I had claimed national interest in the application
of computational fluid dynamics to biomedical systems. At company B, the specific
application area that I will be working on is not the same as company A, although
it is still in the biomedical field. Will this create any problems down the line ?

Thanks

It should not be a problem with an NIW petition, as long as company B is going to give you H1B status. if you use employment authorization derived from your NIW, and your petition is subsequently denied, then you may have a status problem.
