Changing jobs or promotion with same employer

I have applied for my 140 a few months back and for my 485 this month. My current job profile is for a technical position, but i am being offered a management position by my employer.
This is in the same department and same team and most of the duties will still be the same, though there will be additional administrative and management duties added.
Is it possible to change job titles at this stage? What are my options ? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I assume by higher position, you are wanting to go from an EB3 position to an EB2 position. First, your attorney would need to determine if you qualify based on your education and experience history. Then, it would be wise to have your employer file a new H1 petition under your new promotion title (if the position is higher and requires EB2 credentials.) You can't "convert" your I-140 from EB3 to EB2 without filing a brand new labor certification under EB2, and then doing an I-140 re-capture requesting the new category and old priority date after the new EB2 PERM LC is approved.
