changing jobs immediately after GC stamp?

I received my I-485 approval notice today and this is through my wife's process. My GC was still in LC stage and I understand that I dont have to care about it anymore.

Her company gave her someone's approved LC (maybe because that person quit) and we did concurrent filing of I-140 and 485 on May 3 2004 and received approval notice today July 1 2004!! :D :D We are extremely surprised and very happy that it happened so fast! This is in California.

Now my Q is:
I have been planning to move to where my wife is and hence looking for a job there and even got an offer. I am ready to take it and was getting set to file my H1-B transfer. Now I dont need an H1 anymore? Is it advisable to change jobs immediately after getting the stamp next week? Will there be any problems. I looked at the other questions posted here, but it was only dealing with the person who applied for GC through his employer leaving his company but not a dependent.

Both my wife and I will be moving into a new place and hence have to file a change of address to the INS/BCIS. Will there be any issues then for getting my plastic card?

Thanks!!

PS: This is my first post. I dint realise that I will be searching for this kind of information so soon. :)

Since you were not the principal applicant for an employment based GC, you are not bound by any employment restrictions. You may change jobs as you like. Of course you will have to get I-551 stamp in your passport for legal proof of GC status.
