Changing job without informing employer?

Hi all,

I know I can change job after approved 140 and 180 days after filing i-485. But if I dont have good relation with current employer, can he restrict me anyway to leave me? in other word can he able to create any problem with my new job or 485. What precaution I should take before I change job?

Has your I-140 been approved in NSC? When?
Haven't seen any I-140 approval in NSC for weeks. I was wondering whether they slowed the processing.

140 has not approved yet.
