Changing job within one company

My employer filed the LC to the state in 2002. Now the case is in Dallas backlog center and I received the 45 day notice recently. Now I am considering moving to another group in the same company. The job title will be different but the responsibility will be similar. Will it cause any problem if I accept the job?

As long as you have intent of joining the position(specified on LC), after getting GC, it is not a hurdle. All the best.
