Changing job right after labor approval?

Hi,

I checked AVM and it says my labor is approved. Now my client offered me for perm. position which is in different state from where my labor is approved.

How can my employer continue GC process if I join the client? or how long I should wait to join client?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot change Job & use the old Labor... Best thing to do is apply for I-140/I-485 immediately & change job after 6 months of receipt..Use Portabality !
 
I think that would be 6 months (180 days) after I-140 is approved. The law is unclear as to if the 180 days start when the I-485 is filed IF the I-140 is filed at the same time.
