Hi Everyone:
I am facing a issue about changing job. Currently I am waiting for my 485 to be approved. I am currently under H1B. My 485 stamp date is 11/15/06, EB2, world. Texa center. Just applied I765 in April.
My situation now is I need to move to another city to be with my wife ASAP. I understand that 6 months after the I485 submitted and have the I765 approved, then I can change jobs.
My questions are:
1. when changing job, any issues or side effects it might cause? What I should pay attention to?
2. Am I allowed to quited the current job without getting a new one? Which means there will be a time gap between old and new job. I asked this to my attorney, he has no idea!!
