Changing Job After 180 Days Using EAD

Hello Gurus,

please help with my situation.
Applied for 485 more than 180 days. Got my EAD but not AP.
I am planning to change job as I got good offer.
Could anyone please let me know what are the consequences in doing so with my current employer and also with BCIS.
What steps do I need to take care before doing so?

U did not mention whether your I-140 is approved or not. If your I-140 is approved then I guess u r okay as long as ur new job is similar to ur current job.

It would be very beneficial to have all the receipt/approval notices. The most important one is the I-140 approval notice as TSC seems to be issuing RFEs for it when you apply for EAD and AP extensions.

Your current employer can not really do much except for revoking ur I-140. But according to a Memo issued in August 2003, u r fine even if your I-140 is revoked after 180 days from ur I-485 receipt notice.

U should probably hire a good attorney to help u thru this process.
