My current H1-B with my company is for part-time work. They want to hire me for full-time work (35-40 hours/week) with a salary increase. My job description, job location, and degrees required will stay exactly the same.
My current H1-B is about 8 months old, and I have about 2+ years left on it, so we won't be petitioning for an extension of status.
I'm somewhat confused in regards as to which kind of I-129 we should file for my change of hours:
1. A whole new I-129 petition with LCA
2. An amended I-129 petition with LCA
I have found advice in regards to reducing hours from full-time to part-time, but couldn't find anything concrete in regards to ADDING hours from part-time to full-time.
