If I change from CP to AOS , will it delay my AOS processing because all the files went to consulate. Is getting files back from consulate to VSC a difficult process or is it an easy one. Have people been stuck tryiing to change from CP to AOS.

My case details are also similar. I applied for CP Option at I140 stage and then filed I485 in December as i was getting affected by EB3 retrogression. Per my lawyer, Its not Illigal to pursue with Both Options. But when your case gets adjucated thru I485 Process, USCIS requests NVC for your Original I140 that was sent to your Consulate. This process takes about 6 months and hence causing delay in your Adjucation just for these papers.
