Changing from CP to 485 option

Hi friends,

I submitted my I - 140 application with Consular Processing option at NSC. Application Receved date is 5/16/03. Now, I am considering switching to adjustment of status process by filing 485. Is it possible to do so? What is the procedure to do it? Will this affect my pending I - 140 application processing / time? Any other considerations before doing so?

To change from CP to AOS, just go ahead & file your I485. It should not effect your I140 processing time. If at all it might improve, looking at the current NSC trends.
