I am currently holding a valid H-1 B visa. My wife is holding a valid F-1 Visa. I want to apply for visa status change for my wife from F-1 to H-4 (dependent to my visa). My questions are -
1) Shall we wait and should not leave university until H-4 Approval comes. Or
2) My wife can leave university program when we get receipt notice for visa change status application? Is there any risk in doing so ?
Please suggest anyone if there is any problem in option 2)
