Hi
This might be a repeated query. My current situation is that I have labor approved under EB2 PERM (Jul 2006) and my present employer would be filing my I-140. My sixth year H1B expires in Nov 2007. Under these situations
1) Can I change employer after I obtain my I-140 approval?
2) Is it better to change employer after I obtain 3 year extention upon obtaining I-140 approval?
3) I understand that with the new employer I would need to restart the entire GC process ie labor and I-140, but I would be able to maintain the priority date of the old I140?
4) ALso that if the old employer revokes the approved I140, then I lose that priority with the new employer while filing I-140. Now is this true if the new I 140 is still in the process of approval or it does not matter even if the new employer has obtained the new I-140 approval, I would still lose the priority date.
Thanks a lot gurus.
