Changing employer after reply to RFE/local transfer

485 RD is Jan 2003 Concurrent. Replied to RFE for EVL & bc proof for dependent last month. Received a letter from BCIS stating that case transferred to local INS in feb 2005. Can I change the employer at this point, because I am not sure the client will wait until my 485 clears.

B'cos Last month i replied for the RFE for EVL.
EVL is from my Employer who filed my 140.
So after replying for RFE , my case transferred to local office.
Now i am getting an offer from the client.
Can i change employer now??

If asked at the time of interview, you should be able to prove that your new job is 'similar' and you may also be asked to show the new employer's ability to pay. If the new employer, is willing to do that, then you can change jobs under AC21.
