Changing employer after I-140 approval

My current employer filed for my GC in EB2 (perm), I-140 approved in July 2006.

My H1 extension beyond 6yrs is approved for 3 more yrs.

Can I change my employer now and still maintain the priority dates of first labor? How do I transfer my h1 to the new company?

I guess we can do it, but not sure how.

Your new employer has to file for a PERM certification for you, preferably in the same category and when that certification is approved you are allowed to use your earlier priority date.
Also you can certainly transfer your H-1 to your new employer, mentioning the particular facts of your case for a 3 year extension.
