Changing employer after GC approval

My client is asking me to Join as a perm.

Is there any complications if I Joing my client immediately after GC approval???? I came to know from my friend that, at leaset I should work for my current employer for 6 months after approval.

Please let me know your ideas...

Personally, I think you can!

Of course you can, but later can be some problems with citizenship, but you can always say you've got laid off,
so in practice should be no problem.

You are free to change jobs as long as your intent at the time of your final interview/approval was to remain with the employer who submitted the I-140 for you . The next day is up to you. From here on you can work and travel as you wish.

Why cannot u ask ur employer .. proceed from his side then it will be safe. AS per my knowledge it will create problems to u in future. So go thru ur employer .If I were you . i will do the same.
