Guys,
I had to change the company after 9 months of 485 applied (RD:08/03/01 ND: 09/07/01).. I met a lawyer.. he says that they will definetly call me for an interview.. If they issue a RFE about the employment and we respond saying that, I changed employer according to AC-21 rule..

Did any one experience this.. I know many people changed jobs.. and they had different kinds of discussion on this forum.. but no one every said that this interview is mandatory.. ???

I\'d appreciate your comments/experience on changing job.. changing lawyer.. responding to RFE if issued and CALLING FOR INTERVIEW ??

Thanks,
KVNR

NO

interview is not mandatory...Some people not even notifiyng INS when they use AC21. your lawyer has given wrong info so that he can charge more right.

No Title

If you donot inform the INS that you changed the job and if you get an RFE. There is evry change you get deported. It is always better to go according to rules and law, though it costs more.

But

But my question is not to miss lead the INS..
Question is if I change the company.. and I change my current address and change my lawyer.. And will not inform INS about the change of company until they issue RFE..

If INS Issue RFE.. Then we will respond saying that I changed the job according to AC21 rule.. At this time.. as per my lawyer.. they will not reject the case but put this case on hold until this AC21 rule is clear (as per my lawyer - AC21 rule just says same and similar job but they didn\'t define what same and similar means)..

And finally when they want to clear this case they will definitely call for interview..

I want to clear this with you people.. \'cos I believe on real experience then the lawyer\'s words..

Your inputs are really appreciated..
