Changing company during 7th year extension and greencard processing

I am with company A and my current H1B expired on 05/30/2006. Company A filed 7th year H1B extension in 3rd week for April, 2006. Not received the H1B extension receipt notice. Company A filed my labor certification in 12/2004 and its still under process. I have the copy of the receipt notice for labor certitication application. Now I am planning to join company B, which is having an approved labor and ready to use that approved labor and file I140 for me.

Need to know is there any issues in joining company B, like any problem in changing my H1B to company B, any issues with my green card processing with company B etc. Please send me the details.

Thanks

Wait till you get approval from EITHER

Hey
Even I am changing job during my 7th year. Here is what I suggest as
USCIS not approving in first go and sending RFEs quite often (as in my case, eventhough no complication of any sort at all!!!)

My suggestion has 2 options

1. START "H1 TRANSFER and 7th year with COMPANY B " immediately , But just dont join on getting reciept. WAIT TILL YOU GET APPROVAL. My lawyer says he had cases where USCIS said "petition is UNAPPROVABLE" . So you have no option but go back to COMPANY "A" to remain in LEGAL status, which puts you in uncomfortable situation. You can also request you vacation time
in your county to recaptured while approving 7th year extension.

OR

2.Push(request) company A to upgrade your 7th year case to premium and get approval fast and collect docs soos from them and then apply for H1
transfer with company B

Good luck
