Changes to DS 230 forms - should I send a cover letter?

Hi all…

Need some input….

I found that I made some small mistakes when I initially submitted my DS 230 forms.

- Messed up my mother’s family name and middle name,
- My diploma title contained an error. I have written “Accountancy” instead of “Accounting”
- I have stated only the country in my mother’s place of birth.
- My spouse has messed up his mother’s date of birth.

I had my baby recently that is after sending the forms to KCC. So anyway I have to send our updated DS 230 forms along with my baby’s forms.

I am wondering whether I should send a cover letter explaining the changes I have made to our DS 230 forms. My spouse says that it is not necessary to point out all the small changes.

But I just want to make sure.

What do you think I should do?

1. The " Accounting " part really does not matter.
2. The other parts may prove to be problematic later, so why not correct them when you can.

But first call the KCC and ask them what to do, they are very nice people(Surprisingly)
and they will tell you what to do??

- I don't think, there is any problem with your either accountancy or accounting
- Mother's birth place 'just country' seems fine in my view coz I did the same thing, afterall which country belongs to is the main concern !

Do we have to provide documents relating relationship between our father or mother or our spouse's parents in the interview ? If yes then it may a matter, otherwise just country would be enough for me. Let's know from who has the previous exprerience.

I agreed with darkhorse - rest 2 question has to sort it out with KCC.

I took “darkhorse” suggestion and called KCC. They indeed told me to send the new information. So I will be writing a detailed cover letter.

Thank you all.
