I got my interview letter recently as some of you may already know. I just changed my mailing address with USCIS. Do you guys think that will make any difference in the processing times of my application. I don't think it will but it doesn't harm to see what the wise ones out here have to say. Any comments?

I do not think this should delay the processing and the most important thing is that you did the right thing and you complied with the regulations by notifying the USCIS of address change.

When you go for interview in May, please make sure that your new address also reflects on you govt issued photo id (driv license in most of the cases). This way when the officer goes over N-400 form with you, you can update your new address & driv license & may be latest utility bill would be a good proof.

Thanks for replying folks. I did change my physical address when I moved but I kept my mailing address the same since it was my uncles. But decided to change it to mine now since my uncle lives at a distance and it's a hassel to go get the correspondence I receive from USICS. And yes, I do have the new address on my license. I have made changes to the address page on the N-400 which I plan on taking to my interview.

Again, I appreciate your responses and if any one else have something that might be helpful, please let me know.

I'm trying to decide whether you are saying you moved physical address? Did this change take you into a different USCIS district? If so, you can expect a minimum of 90 days delay, or more practically, a 4-5 month delay.

When you submitted the AR-11, did you also call USCIS and have them update your case file? Technically you no longer need to do that, but there have been instances recently where the updates haven't been getting applied correctly. It might be worth a call to the 800 number.

My DO remains the same since I didn't move too far from my previous address. I submitted the AR-11 right when I moved however, I gave my uncles home address as my mailing address. I just went ahead and changed that online and submitted a new AR-11. I will take your advice and call the 800 number first thing Monday morning.

Once again, thanks to everyone who has answered my questions here and in other threads that I have posted.
