I am about one year in my LC process. I want to know if I tranfer from location A (Peoria, IL) to location B (Decatur, IL) within the same company, do I need to start over again? The job title and position is the same. Thanks.
Companies file LC for a particular position in a particular location. Your employer has to continue your GC process with intent to hire you in same same location and same position(and when asked for it - should be willing to give in writing to USCIS). If it is not possible, you will have to restart.
However in case company is physically shifting your department or moving office to a different location - it will be different.
