change TN to TD

Hi ,

I worked under TN and just lost my job last week. My husband is also working under TN right now. So I'm thinking of changing my status to TD. Does anyone know how many days grace period do I have? And which form do I need to file to apply for TD via mail if I don't want to go to the border?

Thanks for your kind replies, gunt and bzuccaro. I'll go to POE to apply for TD ASAP.

By the way, do you have any knowledge about applying UI? I did some search on the web, my understanding is that I may apply for it within U.S. after I get my TD approved. Someone said they got the UI even before they changed to TN. But I think I'd better wait.
