change status to H1 question

hi there,
my wife and I are both on TN, I just got my PERM certified, and because I am from China, I can't file I485 yet. I will apply for change status to H1 on april 1 before submit I140.
my question is, does my wife need to change to H1 as well? since her name will appear on my I140 and TN extension after that may be rejected.

TN extension after that may be rejected.

No need for an H1B. You can keep extending your TN, until you file your I-485. Once you file your I-485 and your TN expires, you would use your EAD and AP until your I-485 gets approved.
