Change SSN card type after GC approval

Hi,
Has anyone got the wordings VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH INS AUTHORIZATION removed from their SSN card?

Yes we did, Please go to the SSN office and apply for a change citing your GC status and they should take care of it and mail your card in two - four weeks.

Did u fill the SSN application form?
Is passport stamping enough to get the SSN card changed? ( we are waiting for our plastic card).
 
You have to reapply for a new card, thus showing your Green card as evidence or proof.

Is the stamping in the passport and approval notices enough proof or do I need to have the plastic card for chaning the SSN card?

just passport + stamp

was enough for me to have passport with stamp

however they did say that if you do it too quickly after getting the stamp sometime stheir system is not updated but in my case it was (a week later)
