I am a doctor and came to USA on visit (B2) visa that was expire in january 2005. So applied for extension of B2 in dec 2004. In the mean time I got the residency position and passed step3 and applied for change of staus to h1. Now i have recieved my change of staus to H1 with I-94 showing start date of july for h1. . I am still waiting for visit visa ext reply from INS though my H1 will start from july 2005.
what should I do now. Do i have contact with INS to decide on my visit visa extension?
As my H1 I-94 starts from 1st july 2005, then what if they are denying for visit visa extension because now i am on acknowledgement receipt that they will decide abt my visa ext?
Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
