I am currently in the US working on H1B (since Jan 2010). I wish to quit my job by the end of this month and transfer into an F2 (my spouse is on an F1 visa). Here are my questions
- What form do I have to fill?
- How long will the processing take?
- Does the petition for F2 need to be approved before the end date of my job? or is it sufficient that my petition reaches USCIS before the end date?
- Do I need an attorney to file for the change of status?
