I am having H1b visa till the september,2009 my employer is not going to apply for the extension.I am planing to change my H1b status to F1.I can get the admission for Jan,2010.I have following query's regarding the issue.
1.Am I eligible to apply for change of status because my H1 is valid till 30th sep'2009
2.If i apply for change of status by september 15th can i legally stay in the USA till the F1 is approved.
3.If F1 gets approved by october,2009 i will be still having 2 months for my classes to start.In that case do i have to go back to india for stamping or i can stay here.
Any help in the above matters will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
