I have read some threads where the immigrant was the female and questions about name change...but i'm the one immigrating, while my wife is the US citizen
my question is a bit different. my wife wants to take my last name (we're waiting on the mailed marriage cert to arrive)...and she's the one filing the application for me. will it delay the application if she changes her name at this stage--will it lead to confusion? (since marriage cert, birt cert, etc. will have her maiden name) or should we file now with her maiden name, then she can change her name?
