Change of LUD on approved I-140 with pending I-485

so my I-140 was approved on 8/2 at TSC. Last week, on 9/7 I finally got the receipt for my I-485 from NSC and the LUD now for this case is 9/9/06. When I checked online now my LUD for my I-140 now changed to 9/13/06. Could this mean that they're starting to work on my I-485, meaning, they went and checked to make sure my I-140 was indeed approved? Why else would they be looking into a case already approved??

seems like they are working on your I485. good luck!

I've had the same happen to me - a LUD on the approved I-140 around the receipt notice arrival of I-485. I think it means that they are entering your I-485 case into the system and cross-referencing it with your approved I-140. I doubt that they would be adjudicating your AOS case just yet, it's a little too early for that... Hang in there! Good luck! :)

man, looking at your signature, it seems it went so fast since you had it processed at TSC! I still kick myself for NOT doing concurrent application as my case now is at NSC!

I know what you mean, TSC rocks. But then it's the luck of the draw these days... I originally sent my I-140 case to NSC as well (in accordance with the new rules), and TSC ended up working it. You never know, you just might receive a transfer notice from NSC to TSC at some point... But I think you'll be fine regardless, with I-140 approval out of the way :)

right now for me the rush in getting the card is in case I want to change jobs within the next months, travelling to my home coutnry with the hassles of going to american embassy to renew visa, etc. My fear of changing jobs right now is that they may deny the I-485 since my i140 NIW was approved based on the work I did/will continue to do in my current field.

the reciept letter came from NSC, so Unless they tranfer it later I presume that's where it will be processed.

where did they send your I-485 petition to TSC or NSC????

Had a LUD on I140 this Sunday

Hi,
I had an LUD on I140 this Sunday. It was approved about 6 weeks back and I was initially puzzled. However, I think it pertains to cross referencing to the 485 petition which reached them 2 days back.

Also, I was given the impression that, if I140 is processed by TSC ( which is my case), even 485 will be processed by them.

Some of the folks here seem to indicate otherwise. Is it possible my 485 could end up at NSC ?

I1485 / EAD / AP - Just submitted (To TSC)

Sorry, but why did you send your I-485 to TSC when the form specifically tells you to send it to NSC?? wonder if you're gonna get lucky and just have it processed at TSC or they'll either return it to you or send it to NSC?? I thought about trying to do the same but I feared that would make them cranky since I wasn't following the rules.
