If I have to change the job ater 180 days of filing I-485, do i need to inform INS right away or should I wait for the INS decision on my application?

Also, What all documents I should request from my previous lawyer if the new compnay lawyer want to handle the case.

Will the lawyer be co-operative to handover the file, since he/she was working for my previous company ?

I changed my job after 180 days. Unfortunately (or now fortunately) I got an RFE and as a result used the AC-21 rule and sent in the offer letter from my new employer along with current paystubs from my previous employer just to show that I was never out of status. However, in talking to the lawyers earlier before I decided to move to the new job, they felt it was a rather routine migration.

I changed lawyers but stayed within the same law firm, my entire folder was transferred over to the other lawyer.
