Change of Job for spouse on EAD

Hi Gurus,

I had a quick question

My company has applied for my green card.It's been 8 months since I filed for I-140 & I-485 concurrently.I just applied for renewal of EAD as well.I-140 is still not approved.

Can my husband change his job coz he has the EAD?Is it ok for him to change his job even though I am the primary applicant?

Any advice would be helpful.

As far as my understanding is,

yes he can, though u r primary applicant and his application is dependent on urs,still it is independent in terms of AOS

if he changes his status by using EAD,urs must not be effected.
