change of job after RFE but before Approval

I understand from the discussions on the forum that GC is for future job. You are expected to work for sponsoring employer for reasonable time (say 6 months)after approval before you can change job.

In my case RFE for employment was replied back in May 2004 but no approval yet (RD 9/02, ND-10/02)

I was wondering what happens if circumstances force me to change job after RFE response for Employment and before approval.

1) Do I need to tell USCIS of job change before GC approval or I do not need to respond till I get further RFEs
2) If GC is approved based on initial RFE response and I work for a different employer will GC approval be considered fraud

Gurus please respond

My friend changed his job three times between I-140 and I-485 approval, twice between RFEs for 485.
He got three RFEs - two for EVL, one for proof of last legal entry.

If you have to change jobs for career or personal reasons, go for it. Don't let the morons at CIS hold you hostage from leading your normal life.

He did not. You are NOT required by law to inform of job changes.
It is impossible to predict what triggers an EVL REF as idiots at NSC act without rime or reason. I have another friend who changed address three times and still got approval from NSC with any RFE. He was in India for more than six months during his AOS.. go figure
