change of employer

I have resigned from the company that processed my I-485 and joined another small company. Both the companies are in the same locality, so I didn't have to change my address. Do I need to notify the change of employer to INS? (or) Can I wait until I get an RFE from INS?

It is up to you. Better if you inform. I know my friends who got 485 approved after informing and some of them without informing as well. It all depends on your luck. But better to inform so that you did your duty from your side. Check with your attorney and ask them.
