Change of Consulate to Canada

Hi Folks,

I was allotted a NVC Case Number MDR ... Does that mean that i can go only to Chennai or can i opt for Montreal, Canada.

I want to go to Montreal, Canada for CP as I am a PR of Canada. I am also living in Canada for the past 1.5 years.

Please let me know if any one has changed his/her Consulate and if so,how to go about it. How much time does it take to change the consulate?

I have received my Packet 3.

It was happen in mya case also, my lawyer wrote letter to NVC with copy of my PR status and NVC transfer my case to US consulate at Montreal.
