I was just wondering if anyone has went thru the change of address while your I 485 is pending at your local office.
I applied for I 485 (change of status ) thru my marriage to my husband who is a US citizen. As we currently live in Houston TX, we submitted all the required forms to Houston Local Office.
My husband got a job in Ft. Worth TX, and we decided to move.
I understand that I have to turn in the form AR11 (Change of Address) to BCIS. Also, I am going to write a letter requesting Houston Local Office to transfer all my files to Dallas Local Office.
Is there anything else I must do?
Actually, I am scare to request a change of address and transfer of my files as BCIS is too good at losing files, but we don’t really have a choice here.
I would appreciate any information that you may have. Please advise.
