hey pork n' all,

could u pleaze throw some light on change of address.
i'm shifting from kansas to NJ and want to change my address.
so how to go 'bout it and should i call the 1-800 num or the 402 num now to talk and change the address on phone.

thanks,
sk.

BCIS recommends to submit AR11 form for change of address requests. In my friend's case no action was taken by submitting AR11 form for more than 2 months then he called 402 no and updated his address.

AR-11 and make sure your lawyer sends a notice to NSC BCIS to inform them of your addy change. Did you get your approval yet, sks052001? Haven't seen you in a while online...

thankx dear and BP,

yes Bp i'm still waiting for my approval.i contacted the senators office but from the last 8 weeks i'm told to wait n' wait.

could u please forward me the address where i should mail the AR-11 cuz' the mailing address which i'm seeing says IMMIGRATION AND NATURALIZATION SERVICE and not BCIS.

And i want to post it thru registered mail so that i have a proof with me but can we send a registered mail on a P.O Box address.

thanks a lot,
sk.

You can write BCIS instead of IMMIGRATION AND NATURALIZATION SERVICE in the first line of address. I am sure Post office will recognize either one of the names. Check with your local postoffice about registered post about PO Box. There is another process called "Proof of delivery" way and it does not require signature and you can actually track it on net also.

Address Change-Also file G-731 to the service center where your case is pending

Hi

For address change you need to file the G-731 form to the service center where your case is pending. If it is Nebraska the form will be named G-731N etc.. Just fill the second page with your new address, receipt number, case type etc, and check it is an address change request..
